ARE YOU PLANNING FOR OUR GOSPEL MEETING?
by Paul D. Fisher--September 17, 2000

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased
God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe (1 Corinthians 1:21).

Our Gospel Meeting challenges our faith (Romans 1:16). Do you truly believe the
Gospel is the power of GOd unto salvation? If so, plan to attend every service you
can and bring someone with you.

Our Gospel Meeting challenges every one of us to work for the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58). It takes more than just an ad in the paper to make a Meeting successful.
What are doing for the success of our Gospel Meeting?

Our Gospel Meeting challenges our interest (Matthew 6:21). Is your interest in the
world or the Gospel? Will you show the world and other Christians where it isl during
this meeting by either being here for each service or by being elsewhere?

Our Gospel Meeting challenges us to be the light of the world (Matthew 6:21). Your
light is your influence. What kind of light are you shining?

Our Gospel Meeting challenges the devil! By being here for each service you are personally issuing a challenge to the devil that you are going to fight him. What kind
of challenge will you issue?

Our Gospel Meeting challenges those who teach and preach error instead of truth (Ephesians 4:4)! We must preach and teach the truth, back it and not apologize
for it!

Our Gospel Meeting challenges sinners to repent and obey the Gospel 2:38)! But it
takes your being here and inviting and bringing people to hear the Gospel.

Our Gospel Meeting challenges those who have lost interest in the Gospel (Ga 6:1).

Are you preparing for our Gospel Meeting?  Are you talking to and inviting others to
come with you? Have you offered to go by and pick them up and bring them with
you? Are you praying for our Gospel Meeting? Where does your interest lie, in the
world or in the kingdom of God? Are you willing to challenge the devil?
