This Thursday, a group of our brothers and sisters are flying down to Peru to io mission work. This is wonderful that we have people who are willing to go to a foreign country and take the message of the gospel with them. We need to continue to pray for them and not only their safety and health, but also that the hearts of the people who hear the gospel will be open to it. Much good can come and has come from just such efforts
One of the wonderful things is that not only are we fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ (Math. 28:19-20), but it also encourages us. Look at those who are going and notice the excitement in their eyes and voices as this Thursday draws ever nearer. When we are doing the Lord's work we are growing! Many of you help all that you can to send people who can and want to go and that is wonderful. Without your support some who want to go would not get to go and God blesses you for your help.
So, if you are one who is going, God bless you and
keep you, and if you are
one who helped to make their going possible, God bless
you and keep you also. Some may think, "All I did was give a little money
for Bibles", but think of the gift a Bible can bring, eternal life! Let
us be ever thankful for the blessings that God bestows upon us.
Remember also those who are going later in the summer
to the Pacific and Far
East on a mission trip. There is also a lot of work
to be done right here in Marshfield, so do not get discouraged, there is
a work for everyone to do. Let us pray to God that we do the work presented
to us!
